Lazy Saturday.

We took it pretty easy today...

we:

slept in,

went to the downtown campus [there was a t-shirt giveaway & we were late for it :(],

lunched,

homework party,

dinner,

movie,

and here we are!

Quite nice to just be.

TGIF - our first!

It's Friday, folks! And that means party-hardy in Motown!

Anyways, we've just finished our first week at WVU. To me it seems like it flew by kind of fast, but I'm sure that feeling won't be lasting. We don't have many plans for the weekend; my friend is coming down to visit the campus so we'll be showing her around tonight & tomorrow. Sunday we're going to church somewhere nearby this week & then I have my Adventure WV reunion at night. Next weekend is the Nova game & I'm fo sho pumped for that!

Ahh, Thursdays.

First off, sorry that the Pac-man game is gone from the side...we're not sure why it disappeared, but Kristi's working at getting it back!

In school news: everything's going well, the stairs are still kicking our butts, but at the end of this year, our hearts are going to be in stellar shape! =]

Kristi's taken the many opportunities in which we have to climb the dreaded stairs, to actually count them, here it is:

• 76 from the Life Sciences bldg to the Mountainlair.
  
• 113 down to the PRT station.
  
• approx. 20ish up to our 2nd floor room.

Tuesday [as told by Heather]

G'day!

I guess it should be howdy, considering we're in WV! =]

So, Tuesday went something like this:

Kristi's first class was cancelled, so she slept in a little & I don't have any Tuesday or Thursday classes, so I was zonked out! Kristi came back around 11am & woke me up! So, we grabbed lunch & headed off to do some random errands (mostly mine). Stopped by the bank, RiteAid, UPS Store, and the Book Exchange. $500 and some-odd dollars later...I have all my books for the semester, whee.

At 5:30pm we both had a lab scheduled, so I jumped in bed for a little nap & Kristi watched some videos on youtube. I woke up to Kristi leave without me!!! But, she wanted to catch the earlier bus, so I was good. I made it out there for the 5pm bus & then 5:05 rolls around, then 5:10...it wasn't looking too good. Kristi had texted me saying she took the PRT since her bus didn't show up either! Lo' and behold: our labs are cancelled anyway...says Kristi over the phone as she's at the lab building!!

We're going to grab some yummy (not) dinner & see where the night takes us!

First Day of Classes (Kristi's version)

So I have 2 classes in the morning & then a 2 hour break...kinda not enough time to o back to my dorm. So I'm really bored...

I wasn't expecting today to be so emotional, but it is. At least I haven't gotten lost! (like Heather.) We should probably buy some form of sandwich wrap so we can pack lunch cause I'm pretty hungry & have no idea where the dining hall is. I have 2 classes left today & then we're getting our fish (hopefully), going to the rec center, and then FallFest. oh Friday, where art thou?

Kristi here! classes start tomorrow & we're psyched! We didn't get to walk around downtown yet to go to each building, but we feel pretty confident about where we're going. We'll be going to bed pretty early tonight so we can get up early enough to catch the PRT & make it to class on time! Wish us luck!
